Following documents are needed to
apply for patent for invention (utility model):
1. The application drafted in Ukrainian and containing:
- request for the grant of a patent of Ukraine for invention (utility
model) with áddress of applicant, names of inventors, number and
date of filing of original application if you want to apply for
conventional priority;
- a description of invention (utility model);
- the claims of invention (utility model);
- the drawings (if there is reference thereto in the description);
- an abstract.
2. Power of Attorney signed by applicant (without notaries attestation
if the term of validity up to 3 years is indicated explicitly).
Following documents are needed to apply for patent for industrial
design:
1. The application drafted in Ukrainian and containing request
for the grant of a patent of Ukraine for industrial design with
address of applicant, names of authors, number and date of filing
of original application if you want to apply for conventional priority;
- a set of photographs which represent the article (its model,
pattern) and give full idea of the article’s appearance:
black and white photographs (18x24 cm) :
– common view (3/4 front-to-side ) - 7 copies;
– view from the right - 3 copies;
– view from the behind - 3 copies;
– additional views from the front and from the top if it
is necessary - 3 copies.
In the case when the color is one of the important characteristic
features 2 copies of color photographs;
- description of industrial design, which includes:
– prior art with the description of the prototype,
– comparative analysis of the prototype and the applied design,
– new result obtained due to the fact of using the applied
design;
- a drawing, a sketch, a map (where appropriate).
2. Power of Attorney signed by applicant (without notaries attestation
if the term of validity up to 3 years is indicated explicitly).
Following documents are needed to apply for certificate on trademark
registration:
1. The application drafted in Ukrainian and containing
- request for the grant of certificate for trade mark with address
of applicant, number and date of filing of original application
if you want to apply for conventional priority;
- a representation of the claimed designation;
- a list of goods and services for which registration of a mark
is claimed by the applicant, grouped in the order of classes of
the International Classification of Goods and Services for the
Purposes of the Registration of Marks.
2. Power of Attorney signed by applicant (without notaries attestation
if the term of validity up to 3 years is indicated explicitly).
